Firstly, I am so happy that I was able to shoot the stages of the Full Lunar Eclipse in Malaysia.
This was the 2nd one for the year of 2011 (the 1st one occured on 16th June 2011).
When it happened on 16th June, it was too late at night (01:00am) and it was too cloudy.

But this time, I managed to shot this marvellous phenomenon and combined the shots to see the phases of it.

Tips Menyimpan Bahan Makanan Dalam Peti Sejuk

Bagi kawan2 yang agak2 was-was/pening2 lalat atau apa2 pening sekalipun/(diri sendiri terutamanya kadang mengabaikannya) bagaimanakah cara terbaik menjaga makanan yang disimpan dalam peti sejuk... jom ikuti panduan di bawah:

1. Kapasiti
Jangan isi peti ais terlalu penuh sehingga mengganggu aliran udara di dalamnya. Jika telalu penuh, peti ais tidak akan dingin secara optimum. Secara ideanya isikan sebanyak 85 peratus sahaja dan 15 peratus lagi untuk pengaliran udara.

2. Makanan Kering
Tidak perlu menyimpan makanan kering dalam peti ais. Ikan masin dan keropok umpamanya, cukup sekadar disimpan dalam bekas tertutup, diletakkan di tempat yang kering dalam suhu bilik.

3. Daging
Daging boleh tahan selama sebulan jika disimpan dalam peti ais. Potong daging, masukkan dalam bekas plastik dalam jumlah yang memadai untuk sekali masak, ikat rapat-rapat dan simpan dalam ruang dingin beku. Ini memudahkan anda ketika memasak, hanya ambil yang berkenaan, cairkan kembali dan terus memasak. Jika anda simpan dalam jumlah besar sekali gus, katakan dua kilogram tetapi anda hanya perlukan setengah kilogram, untuk dimasak, anda perlu mengeluarkan semuanya sekali dan menunggu ia cair dahulu, sebelum menyimpan bakinya. Proses ini boleh menyebabkan daging tercemar dan mengurangkan gizinya. Ini kerana ketika mencairkannya, zat mungkin dicairkan sekali bersama ais.

4. Ikan
Sebelum disimpan, ikan harus dibersihkan, buang insang, isi perut dan sisik. Kemudian bungkus rapat-rapat dan simpan dalam ruang dingin beku. Udang biasanya akan mempunyai bercak-cak hitam jika terlalu lama disimpan dalam ruang dingin beku.

5. Sayur-sayuran
Ruang sayur-sayuran biasanya terletak bahagian paling bawah. Sayur-sayuran mempunyai sifat yang cepat layu. Kalau ingin lebih segar, sayur-sayuran boleh dibungkus rapat dalam plastik. Jangan simpan sayur di ruang dingin, seperti chiller di bawah ruang dingin beku. Ia akan menyebabkan dinding sel-sel pecah kerana ia tidak dapat menahan cairan.

6. Makanan
Ada makanan yang harus disimpan dalam bekas bertutup rapat untuk mengelakkan berbau. Susu misalnya antara makanan yang mudah tercemar. Makanan dalam tin yang sudah dibuka boleh dipindahkan ke dalam gelas atau bekas melamin, ditutup rapat kemudian disimpan dalam peti ais. jangan disimpan dalam tinnya kerana ia boleh mengakibatkan pengoksidaan. Makanan yang dibolehkan adalah buah-buahan dalam tin.

7. Sos dan kicap
Botol sos dan kicap yang sudah dibuka lebih baik disimpan dalam peti ais. Namun pastikan botolnya bertutup rapat.

8. Sisa Roti
Roti tawar tidak tahan lama jika disimpan dalam suhu bilik, apatah lagi pada musim hujan yang lembap. Bungkus rapat-rapat dengan plastik, simpan dalam peti ais. Jika hendak dimakan, anda boleh mengukusnya selama satu minit dengan mendidihkan air terlebih dahulu. Jika terlalu lama, roti akan lembik terkena wap air.

9. Kebersihan
Bersihkan peti ais sekali dalam sebulan. Defrostkan supaya ais dalam ruang dingin beku dan chiller mencair. Matikan aliran elektrik. Lap seluruh dinding dengan air suam-suam kuku yang dicampurkan sedikit soda untuk menghilangkan bau. Keluarkan semua rak, cuci dengan sabun, bilas, keringkan dengan baik sebelum dipasangkan semula. Periksa secara berkala bekas takungan air di bahagian belakang atau bawah peti asi. Jika penuh, segera kosongkan supaya tidak menjadi tempat nyamuk membiak.

Budget 2012: Highlights (2011/10/07)

* One off RM200 cash voucher for all Malaysian school pupils and higher learning institution students.

* Pembayaran bantuan tunai (sekali sahaja) sebanyak RM500 kepada semua isi rumah dengan pendapatan bulanan sebanyak RM3,000 dan ke bawah, yang bernilai RM1.8 bilion untuk memberi manfaat kepada 3.4 juta isi rumah.

* Bantuan RM100 (sekali sahaja) bagi setiap murid sekolah berusia 6 hingga 16 tahun.

* Pembayaran baucer tunai RM200 (sekali sahaja) untuk semua murid-murid sekolah Malaysia dan pelajar institusi pembelajaran tinggi.

*Siling bagi harga rumah di bawah skim jaminan deposit kerajaan untuk pembeli rumah pertama kali dinaikkan kepada RM400,000 daripada RM200,000.

ONLY BUY OR FILL UP YOUR CAR OR BIKKIE IN THE EARLY MORNING WHEN THE GROUND TEMPERATURE IS STILL COLD.
Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks buried below ground. The colder the ground, the denser the fuel, when it gets warmer petrol expands, so buying in the afternoon or in the evening.... your liter is not exactly a liter.In the petroleum business, the specific gravity and the temperature of the petrol, diesel and jet fuel, ethanol and other petroleum products play an important role. A 1degree rise in temperature is a big deal for this business. But the service stations do not have temperature compensation at the pumps.

ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT TIPS IS TO FILL UP WHEN YOUR TANK IS HALF FULL.
The reason for this is, the more fuel you have in your tank, the less air occupying its empty space. Petrol evaporates faster than you can imagine. Petroleum storage tanks have an internal floating roof. This roof serves as zero clearance between the petrol and the atmosphere, so it minimizes the evaporation. Unlike service stations, here where I work, every truck that we load is temperature compensated, so that every liter is actually the exact amount.

WHEN YOU'RE FILLING UP, DO NOT SQUEEZE THE TRIGGER OF THE NOZZLE TO A FAST MODE.
If you look, you will see that the trigger has three (3) stages: low, middle, and high. In slow mode, you should be pumping on low speed, thereby minimizing the vapors that are created, while you are pumping. All hoses at the pump have a vapor return. If you are pumping on the fast rate, some of the liquid that goes to your tank becomes vapor. Those vapors are being sucked up and back into the underground storage tank so you ' re getting less worth for your money.

ANOTHER REMINDER, IF THERE IS A FUEL TRUCK PUMPING INTO THE STORAGE TANKS, WHEN YOU STOP TO BUY, DO NOT FILL UP.
Most likely the petrol/diesel is being stirred up as the fuel is being delivered, and you might pick up some of the dirt that normally settles on the bottom.

Budget 2011 Highlights – Kandungan Bajet 2011

KUALA LUMPUR: Following are Budget 2011 economic highlights:

Government revises growth rate for 2010 to seven per cent from six per cent previously.

Income per capita to increase 6.1 per cent to RM28,000.

Private investment to expand 12.5 per cent to RM86 billion.

Twelve National Key Economic Areas (NKEAs) to generate over RM1.3 trillion in investment and create 3.3 million job opportunities.

Government to provide allocation as a tipping point for infrastructure support to ensure viability of private sector-led projects.

Several public-private partnership (PPP) projects under the 10MP to be implemented in 2011 via a RM12.5 billion private investment.

The Academic Medical Centre, a joint-venture between Academic Medical Centre Sdn Bhd and John Hopkins Medical International as well as Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland, is another identified PPP project with RM2 billion private investment.

Government to consider special incentive packages to attract investors to the Kuala Lumpur International Financial District (KLIFD).

The Mass Rapid Transit project will be implemented beginning 2011 with private investment of RM40 billion and to complete by 2020.

The Employees Provident Fund to undertake mixed development at the identified Malaysian Rubber Board land in Sungai Buloh with an estimated cost of RM10 billion, to be completed by 2025.

To support financial liberalisation policy, the government will implement bold measures to revitalise the domestic capital market particularly diversifying investment products, liberalising equity holding requirements and investment limits, providing attractive incentives as well as enhancing cooperation with foreign bourses.

Government-Linked Investment Companies (GLIC) to divest shareholdings in major companies listed on Bursa Malaysia and are allowed to increase investment in overseas markets.

Bursa Malaysia to launch Sukuk and conventional bonds to meet retail investors' demand for fixed income instruments.

Securities Commission to offer three new stockbroking licences to eligible local, foreign or joint-venture companies.

Bursa Malaysia to develop an international board to enable foreign securities to be listed including syariah-compliant products.

Tax deduction on expenses for the issuance of Islamic securities which adopt the principles of Murabahah and Bai' Bithaman Ajil based on tawarru.

Double tax deducation on takaful contributions for export credit.

Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC) to provide a start-up fund of RM100 million to provide soft loans which allow loan repayments only after the companies generate income.

Bumiputera Property Trust Foundation (BPTF) to launch a syariah-compliant Bumiputera Property Trust Scheme of RM1 billion.

Private pension fund to be launched in 2011 to benefit private sector employees and the self-employed.

Existing income tax relief of up to RM6,000 for employees' contributions to the EPF will be extended to the contributions made to the Private Pension Fund, including the self-employed. Employers will also be given tax deduction on contributions made on behalf of their employees.

A sum of RM857 million allocated for local companies to invest in high value-added activities, particularly in Penang and the Kulim High-Tech Park in Kedah.

Government allocates RM146 million to support oil, gas and energy industry. Among projects to be implemented include the establishment of the Oil Field Services and Equipment Centre in Johor with private investment of RM6 billion over a period of 10 years.

Petronas will implement a regasification project with an investment of RM3 billion in Melaka and will be operational in 2012.

Pioneer Status and Investment Tax Allowance for the generation of energy from renewable sources and energy efficiency activities to be extended until Dec 31, 2015.

Import duty and sales tax exemption on equipment for the generation of energy from renewable sources and energy efficiency to be extended until Dec 31, 2012.

Tax exemption on the income derived from trading of Certified Emission Reductions certificate to be extended until year of assessment 2012.

Import duty and excise duty exemption duty to franchise holders of hybrid cars will be extended until Dec 31, 2011 with excise duty to be given full exemption. This incentive is also extended to electric cars as well as hybrid and electric motorcycles.

Government will implement the Feed in Tariff (FiT) mechanism under the Renewable Energy (RE) Act to allow electricity generated from RE by individuals and independent providers to be sold to electricity utility companies.

Government will extend the investment allowance period for the last mile broadband service providers. In addition, import duty and sales tax exemption on broadband equipment are also extended for two years until 2012.

A sum of RM91 million is allocated for capacity building in the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services industry, aerospace and aeronautical engineering training programmes as well as promotion of business outsourcing services.

Government allocates RM850 million for infrastructure support for corridor and regional development. Iskandar Malaysia (RM339 million), Northern Corridor Economic Region (RM133 million), East Coast Economic Region (RM178 million), Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (RM93 million), Sabah Development Corridor (RM110 million).

A sum of RM411 million is allocated for the research, development and commercialisation activities.

A sum of RM71 million is allocated for Special Innovation Unit (UNIK).

The new Insolvency Act will consolidate the Bankruptcy Act 1967 and Part 10 of the Companies Act 1965, including introduction of provision relating to relief mechanism for companies and individuals with financial problems. The review will also involve amending the current minimum bankruptcy limit of RM30,000.

A sum of RM200 million is allocated to purchase creative products such as high quality locally-produced films, dramas and documentaries.

Allocation of RM212 billion for Budget 2011 of which RM162.8 billion is for operating expenditure and RM49.2 billion for development expenditure.

Federal government revenue collection to increase 2.3 per cent to RM165.8 billion in 2011 and its deficit to decline to 5.4 per cent of GDP compared with 5.6 per cent in 2010.

Today, for the 53rd year, we celebrate the National Day of Malaysia.

This day is for commemorating the independence of the Federation of Malaya from the British Colonial rule.

Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj announced the independence of Malaya from the British on 31 August 1957, at Stadium Merdeka.

The Formation of Malaysia

The Federation of Malaysia, comprising the States of Malaya, Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore was to be officially declared on the date August 31, 1963, on the 6th anniversary of Malayan independence. However, it was postponed to September 16, 1963.

The formation of the Federation of Malaysia was then announced on September 16, 1963 as Malaysia Day. The nationwide Independence Day celebration is still held on August 31, the original independence date of Malaya, while Malaysia Day is a public holiday only in East Malaysia.

However, this has caused some minor discontent among East Malaysians in particular since it has been argued that celebrating the national day on August 31 is too Malaya-centric.

It is decided that starting this year, 2010, Malaysia Day will be a nationwide public holiday in addition to Hari Merdeka on August 31.

Minyak pasti naik 1 Mei 2010 ini. Dulu kata hanya pada 1 Mei 2010 rakyat akan tahu berapa akan naik (bukan minyak naik tapi dijual tanpa subsidi).

Tapi sekarang kemungkinan akan diumum dua bulan lebih awal (agaknya sebab orang takut beli kereta sebelum 1 Mei 2010, nanti jualan kereta merudum).

Menurut penganalisis permotoran terkemuka iaitu Paul Tan, hanya akhbar Sin Chew yang dapat sedikit maklumat mengenai mekanisma kenaikan minyak pada 1 Mei 2010 ini , iaitu :

1. Satu mekanisma pendaftaran kenderaan akan diadakan pada bulan Mac 2010.

2. Mereka yang ada lebih dari satu kereta hanya layak untuk membeli minyak pada harga subsidi untuk satu kereta sahaja . (Jadilah kenalah pindah daftar kereta atas nama isteri, isteri-isteri ke, anak-anak ke, ayah ke, datuk ke, nenek ke, asalkan masih hidup dan bukan hantu).

3. Mereka yang tiada kenderaan tidak akan dapat subsidi.

4. Jika pengguna menggunakan lebih minyak dalam tempoh sebulan, selebihnya dia akan membeli minyak tanpa sebarang subsidi.

5. Kuota sebulan adalah antara 100 liter ke 300 liter.

6. Kapasiti enjin atau cc kenderaan kemungkinan tidak diambil kira dalam mekanisma ini (mungkin pukul rata).Bersedialah kita semua untuk ikat perut. Puasa , dapat pahala.Biar minyak naik, jangan kita naik minyak. Motosikal kan ada, apa susah.

- Some kind of ‘registration exercise’ will begin in March in preparation for the new system’s implementation on the 1st of May.

- Maybe the government has changed their mind and will reveal our new nightmare two months ahead instead of the night before?

- Someone who owns multiple cars will only be eligible for subsidy worth for one car only.

- Someone who does not own a car does not get any subsidy quota.

- If a car owner finishes his monthly subsidy quota, the person can continue to puchase fuel, but at unsubsidised market rates.

- Quota is expected to be anything between 100 to 300 liters per month.

-The government is considering removing the engine capacity variable from the formula that determines your monthly subsidy.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) -- Dubai opened the world's tallest skyscraper Monday in a blaze of fireworks, then renamed the half-mile-high tower as Burj Khalifa.

Long known as Burj Dubai -- Arabic for "Dubai Tower" -- the building rises 2,717 feet (828 meters) from the desert. The $1.5 billion "vertical city" of luxury apartments and offices and a hotel designed by Giorgio Armani also plans to have the world's highest mosque (158th floor) and swimming pool (76th floor).

Its backers wanted the skyscraper to be a monument to the boundless, can-do spirit of Dubai -- one of a federation of seven small sheikdoms that make up the United Arab Emirates.
As officials opened the tapering metal-and-glass spire with fireworks and multicolored lights, they unexpectedly announced it would be renamed Burj Khalifa, to honor the Abu Dhabi leader who is also president of the UAE.

Thousands of cheering, clapping spectators watched as a tally projected on huge screens at the opening ceremony revealed the tower's most closely guarded secret -- its height of 2,717 feet. That made it more than 1,000 feet higher than the skyscraper known as Taipei 101 in Taiwan, which at 1,667 feet had been the world's tallest since 2004.

Apa itu H1N1?

Viral novel influenza type A H1N1. Ianya berasal dr virus avian flu (selsema burung H5N1) yang telah menjangkiti babi @ khinzir dan telah bergabung dengan swine flu (yg sepatutnya hanya menjangkit ternakan babi sahaja) dan telah evaluasi (mutasi) untuk penyesuaian diri di dalam 'host' yg lebih tinggi di dlm rantaian makanan @ manusia. Dan semasa di dlm badan manusia, sekali lagi ia berevolusi supaya ia menjadi 'air-borne' dan menjangkit dr manusia kpd manusia.

Jangka hayat virus

Oleh kerana ia adalah virus yg air-borne, ia hanya boleh bertahan di udara selama 2 hingga 8 jam sahaja. jika selepas tempoh tersebut ia tidak mendapat perumah @ host( badan manusia) ia akan mati. Maka bilik yang dibiarkan selama 24 jam dengan air ventilation yg baik.....akan 'bersih' dr virus tersebut.

Apa yg perlu tahu?

Sebenarnya telah terdapat outbrake di US sebelum terjadi outbreak di Mexico tp tidak dilaporkan kpd WHO. kemungkinan outbreak ini telah dikesan dan US mahu 'baling batu sembunyi tangan' lalu tercetus la outbreak di Mexico . Virologi virus H1N1 incubation period yg singkat pada purata 2 hari dgn julat 1 - 4 hari ini bermakna ia cepat menyerang badan manusia setelah ia menjangkit pesakit. Pesakit akan menunjukkan simptom selepas 1 hari dijangkit paling cepat dan selewat2nya hari ke-4. H1N1 sebenarnya adalah selsema biasa namun kpd pesakit yg berisiko, ia dapat membunuh. Jika pesakit adalah seorang yg normal, ia hanya akan memberi kesan seperti demam selsema biasa dan batuk.

Cara serangan

Virus ini boleh disebarkan melalui batuk, bersin dan percakapan. Virus ini akan menyerang sistem pernafasan (seperti selsema burung dan SARS) peringkat awal, ia hanya pada 'trakea' jika tidak mendapat rawatan awal, ia akan menyerang paru2 dan boleh menyebabkan kematian akibat 'lung collapse' ia amat merbahaya kpd golongan yg berisiko tinggi.

1. orang yg ada masaalah 'obesiti' @ gemuk

2. perempuan yg mengandung

3. orang yg ada asthmatic

3 - elakkan diri jika terdapat 'orang batuk, bersin dan kurang sihat'

4 - jika kurang sihat, elakan diri dr beraktiviti (sosial dan berkumpulan)

5 - jika kurang sihat dan ada ILI ( influenza light illness @ selsema biasa) jgn hadirkan diri di kawasan orang ramai. Jika terpaksa, pakai 'mask' (sekurang2 nya 3 ply mask)

6 - utk org yg sihat, elakkan dr kawasan yg padat.

7 - jika ada tanda2 simptom diatas, segera ke hospital untuk pemeriksaan dan rawatan

8 - jika sihat, jgn ke hospital atau klinik utk 'check-up' kerana di kawasan tersebut mengandungi banyak virus.

9 - tak perlu ambil anti-viral @ apa2 ubat influenza!!! !!!!!!!. Jika sihat dan mengambilnya, akn mengakibatkan resistan kpd vaksin @ ubt2 untuk merawat jika terkena jangkitan. ini adalah kerana berlakunya resistansi virus terhadap persekitaran badan yg telah mengambil ubt2 tersebut terlebih awal.

10 - vaksin hanya akan 'wujud' seawal2nya pada oktober dan hanya utk 'frontliner' shj. dan utk awam selewat2nya pada 2010.

11 - utk makluman, influenza test hanya dijalankan di 2 makmal shj di Malaysia . Mengambil masa 6 jam utk run test kpd 1 batch sample. Jika klinik menyatakan mereka boleh jlnkan ujian, itu tidak betul. Tak perlu ambil suntikan seasonal influenza kerana ia tidak berkaitan.

12 - tahap kesedaran dan pengetahuan yg tinggi amat perlu utk kita sama2 menghadapi outbreak ini.

PERKARA YANG ANDA TAK TAHU TENTANG TELEFON BIMBIT

Tahukah anda bahawa telefon bimbit anda sedikit sebanyak boleh membantu dikala kecemasan. Banyak perkara yang boleh anda lakukan, antaranya : -

1) NOMBOR KECEMASAN - Sentiasa ingat bahawa nombor kecemasan untuk semua telefon adalah 112. Jika anda dalam kecemasan dan berada dikawasan tiada liputan untuk semua talian telefon bimbit yang anda gunakan, cuba dail nombor kecemasan 112. Ia boleh digunakan walaupun di kawasan yang tiada liputan dan lebih menarik lagi, ia boleh terus didail walaupun papan kekunci telefon bimbit anda dikunci ( Keypad lock )

2) KERETA TERKUNCI - Pernahkah anda tertinggal kunci kereta dalam kereta dan kereta anda ketika itu terkunci dari luar. Mesti anda lakukan pelbagai cara untuk mendapatkan kembali kunci bagi membuka semula kereta anda. Jangan risau, telefon bimbit boleh membantu, tapi bagi kereta yang menggunakan system penggera ( alarm ) sahaja. Caranya,cuba anda hubungi seseorang yang berada di rumah. Minta dia ambilkan kunci pendua kereta anda. Kemudian pegang telefon bimbit anda dari jarak kira-kira 30 sm ( satu kaki ) dari kereta yang terkunci itu. Minta pula keluarga atau teman di rumah menekan punat ' ON ' pada kunci pendua kereta dan pastikan dia menekan dengan mendekatkan pada telefon bimbitnya. Pasti kereta anda tidak terkunci lagi, malah ia boleh dilakukan dari jarak beratus-ratus kilometer dari tempat kereta anda berada. Kerana itu juga, penting untuk anda menyimpan kunci pendua atau meminta orang yang anda percayai untuk menyimpannya. Penting juga penggunaan telefon bimbit dalam keadaan sebegini. Kaedah ini memang berkesan kerana beberapa orang telah mencubanya.

3) KUASA BATERI TERSEMBUNYI - Mungkin ramai tidak tahu, telefon bimbit yang telah kehabisan bateri masih boleh digunakan dalam keadaan kecemasan kerana ia mempunyai fungsi untuk menyimpan bateri tambahan. Bayangkan jika bateri telefon bimbit anda sudah terlalu lemah atau mati sedangkan anda perlu melakukan panggilan penting atau berada dalam kecemasan. Telefon bimbit jenis Nokia didatangkan dengan bateri simpanan. Untuk mengatifkannya, tekan kekunci ' *3370# ' . Telefon bimbit anda akan berjaya dihidupkan semula dan skrin telefon akan memberitahu telefon tentang penambahan kuasa bateri sebanyak 50 peratus. Kuasa tambahan ini juga akan dicas semula bila anda mengecas telefon bimbit anda .

4) TELEFON KENA CURI - Bagaimana jika telefon bimbit anda dicuri. Anda boleh menjadikan ia tidak dapat diaktifkan dengan menekan nombor siri yang terdapat di telefon bimbit anda, sila dail *#06# dan 15 digit nombor siri telefon bimbit anda akan tertera di skrin. Nombor ini adalah unik untuk setiap telefon bimbit. Catatkan nombor siri ini dan simpannya di tempat Selamat. Bila telefon bimbit anda dicuri, anda boleh hubungi pusat servis telefon bimbit anda dan berikannya kod nombor siri tersebut. I am writing about him here in my blog as my tribute to one of my famous artists in the world.
I really adore his performance and I can say that nobody can ever replace him on the stage.
When I heard the news about his "journey to the new world", I'm really sad, since no more performance of him can be seen elsewhere anymore.

He was just about to make his comeback on this 13 July (for the final of his career), but his time has come to meet the God.

I can just pray for him, Rest In Peace.... God Loves Him More!!!

26 June 09– Michael Jackson, defined in equal parts as the world's greatest entertainer and perhaps its most enigmatic figure, was about to attempt one of the greatest comebacks of all time. Then his life was cut shockingly — and so far, mysteriously — short.

The 50-year-old musical superstar died Thursday, just as he was preparing for what would be a series of 50 concerts starting July 13 at London's famed 02 arena. Jackson had been spending hours and hours toiling with a team of dancers for a performance he and his fans hoped would restore his tarnished legacy to its proper place in pop.

Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center after being stricken at his rented home in the posh Los Angeles neighborhood of Holmby Hills. Paramedics tried to resuscitate him at his home for nearly three-quarters of an hour, then rushed him to the hospital, where doctors continued to work on him. "It is believed he suffered cardiac arrest in his home. However, the cause of his death is unknown until results of the autopsy are known," his brother Jermaine said.

Michael Joseph Jackson was born Aug. 29, 1958, in Gary. He was 4 years old when he began singing with his brothers — Marlon, Jermaine, Jackie and Tito — in the Jackson 5. After his early success with bubblegum soul, he struck out on his own, generating innovative, explosive, unstoppable music.

The public first knew him as a boy in the late 1960s, when he was the precocious, spinning lead singer of the Jackson 5, the singing group he formed with his four older brothers out of Gary, Ind. Among their No. 1 hits were "I Want You Back," "ABC" and "I'll Be There."

The album "Thriller" alone mixed the dark, serpentine bass and drums and synthesizer approach of "Billie Jean," the grinding Eddie Van Halen guitar solo on "Beat It," and the hiccups and falsettos on "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'."

Billboard magazine editorial director Bill Werde said Jackson's star power was unmatched. "The world just lost the biggest pop star in history, no matter how you cut it," Werde said. "He's literally the king of pop."

Bahan-bahan untuk “red sauce”:

½ kg daging cincang
6 biji tomato masak – dipotong dadu
1½ biji bawang besar (putih) – dipotong dadu
7 ulas bawang putih – dipotong dadu
1 tin (400 gm) cendawan butang – dipotong dadu
1 biji cili bulat hijau (“capsicum”) – dipotong dadu
1 tin (400 gm) tomato puree/paste
2 sudu kecil “Italian Herbs”
5-6 sudu besar minyak zaitun
Garam secukup rasa

Bahan-bahan untuk lasagna:

Lasagna sheets (kepingan lasagna) – 4-5 keping
Keju - diparut halus (lebih kurang 1 mangkuk)
Aluminium foil.

Cara-Cara Masak “Red Sauce”

Panaskan minyak zaitun.
Masukkan bawang besar, bawang putih yang sudah dipotong dadu. Tumis sehingga naik baunya.
Setelah naik baunya, masukkan daging cincang. Ketika daging separuh masak, masukkan 1 sudu kecil “Italian Herbs” & masukkan garam. Kacau sehingga masak.
Setelah dagingnya masak, masukkan tomato dan tomato puree/paste. Kacau sehingga separuh masak. Kemudian masukkan cendawan butang dan “capsicum” tersebut. Kacau supaya sekata. Kemudian biarkan dengan api sederhana sehingga masak.
Sebelum api ditutup, campurkan 1 sudu kecil “Italian Herbs”, dan setelah itu masukkan segenggam kecil keju (yang sudah diparut). Kacau seketika & tutup api.

Selesai untuk “Red Sauce”

Cara-Cara Siapkan dan Bakar Lasagna

Lapisan2 perlu dibuat di dalam “casserole”. Secara asasnya, boleh dibuat mengikut selera masing2, tetapi yang penting di atas & bawah kepingan lasagna (lasagna sheets) perlu ada “red sauce” supaya lasagna nya cukup masak/kembang, serta Lapisan paling bawah perlulah diletakkan “red sauce”. Lapisan di atas, perlulah keju parut.

Setelah susun seperti berikut, bakar di dalam Oven dengan suhu 180°C selama 30 minit.

Lovely Story on Human Relationship

One day a man saw an old lady, stranded on the side of the road, but even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her.

Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn't look safe; he looked poor and hungry.

He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was those chills which only fear can put in you.

He said, 'I'm here to help you, ma'am. Why don't you wait in the car where it's warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson.'

Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire.. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt.

As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn't thank him enough for coming to her aid.

Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Bryan never thought twice about being paid. This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way.

He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed, and Bryan added, 'And think of me.'

He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight.

A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn't erase. The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan.

After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill. The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back. The waitress wondered where the lady could be. Then she noticed something written on the napkin.

There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: 'You don't owe me anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me out, the way I'm helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do: Do not let this chain of love end with you.'

Under the napkin were four more $100 bills.

Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people toserve, but the waitress made it through another day. That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard....

She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, 'Everything's going to be all right. I love you, Bryan Anderson.'

A mile and a half (two and a half kilometers) underwater, a remote control submersible's camera has captured an eerie surprise: an alien-like, long-armed, and—strangest of all—"elbowed" Magnapinna squid.

In a brief video from the dive recently obtained by National Geographic News, one of the rarely seen squid loiters above the seafloor in the Gulf of Mexico on November 11, 2007.
The clip—from a Shell oil company ROV (remotely operated vehicle)—arrived after a long, circuitous trip through oil-industry in-boxes and other email accounts.

KEGEMBIRAAN Christopher Columbus dan anak kapalnya menemui benua Amerika pada 1492 tiba-tiba saja bertukar menjadi mimpi ngeri.
Tanpa diduga, ketika meneruskan pelayaran, kumpulan ekspedisi berkenaan tidak hanya menemui benua baru itu tetapi turut berhadapan dengan fenomena mistik yang meremangkan bulu roma dan menyeramkan.
Di tengah samudera luas, secara tiba-tiba jarum kompas di kapal Columbus bergerak tanpa arah yang pasti. Kejadian aneh berkenaan semakin membingungkan kerana ia berlaku ketika cuaca di luar kapal begitu baik.

Columbus dan ahli ekspedisinya boleh dikatakan agak beruntung berbanding pihak lain yang melalui kawasan yang kini dikenali 'Segitiga Bermuda'

Ahli pelayaran kurun ke-15 itu sekadar diperlihatkan kejadian aneh dan mistik tetapi ratusan kapal dan pesawat yang melalui perairan itu selepas Columbus terus ghaib tanpa dapat dikesan!
Peristiwa terbesar yang pernah terjadi di Segitiga Bermuda adalah lenyapnya kapal perang Inggeris iaitu Atlanta pada 1880.
Sebaik kapal besar itu melalui kawasan perairan berkenaan, ia terus lenyap bersama 300 kadet dan askar di dalamnya.
Rupanya Segitiga Bermuda tidak hanya 'menelan' kapal laut yang melalui kawasan perairannya tetapi juga di ruang udara yang terdapat dalam lingkungan pertemuan tiga negeri berkenaan.
Selain kapal laut, pesawat yang terbang di Segitiga Bermuda yang berkeluasan kira-kira 1.2 juta kilometer persegi itu turut ghaib tanpa dapat dikesan.
Peristiwa terbesar membabitkan kehilangan pesawat terbongkar pada 1990 apabila lima jet Grumman TBF Avenger AL AS yang tengah meronda melintas wilayah laut itu terus ghaib daripada radar pusat kawalan udara pada 5 Disember 1945, ketika waktu masih siang.
Penyiasatan mendapati komandan penerbangan sempat berhubung dengan pusat kawalan dan melaporkan yang kumpulan mereka mengalami 'gangguan' sebelum semua pesawat itu ghaib beberapa minit kemudian tanpa sempat memberi isyarat SOS.
Kehilangan lima pesawat itu menyebabkan sebuah pesawat lain iaitu Martin
PBM-3 Mariner diterbangkan untuk operasi mencari tetapi pesawat itu turut lenyap bersama 13 anggota di dalamnya. Operasi mencari turut gagal menemui serpihan pesawat berkenaan.
Tahun demi tahun berlalu, sekitar 1990, seorang peneliti tampil bersama penemuan menggemparkan apabila menjumpai kerangka pesawat di pantai Fort Launderdale, Florida. Ujian mendapati kerangka itu milik TBF Avenger yang hilang lebih 30 tahun sebelum itu.
Konflik lebih menarik berlaku dalam proses pencarian pesawat pengangkut
C-119 Flying Boxcar yang hilang pada 7 Jun 1965. Seperti kes lain, pesawat itu terbang melalui Segitiga Bermuda dan terus gahib tanpa dapat dikesan.
Operasi menyelamat dikerahkan tetapi tetap tidak menjumpai jejak serpihan ataupun mayat anggota dalam pesawat itu.
Kehilangan itu terus menjadi misteri sehinggalah pada 1973, seorang pengkaji UFO mengemukakan teori yang menarik tumpuan ramai pihak menerusi artikelnya yang diterbitkan Biro UFO Antarabangsa.
Dalam artikel itu dimuatkan kenyataan angkasawan Gemini IV, James McDivitt dan Edward H. White II. Mereka menceritakan pada waktu hilangnya pesawat C-119, dua angkasawan itu sedang mengamati wilayah sekitar Kepulauan Hawaii.
Menurut catatan NASA, pada 3 hingga 7 Jun 1965, kedua-dua angkasawan itu sedang melakukan eksperimen di luar kapsul Gemini dan McDivitt menyatakan dia melihat sebuah UFO meluncur di udara berhampiran Hawaii. Beberapa minit kemudian, White turut menyaksikan objek lain yang berbentuk serupa.
Sejak itu, cerita mengenai UFO yang 'menculik' C-119 terus heboh sehingga menarik perhatian ramai pihak. Bagaimanapun, pihak yang skeptikal dengan kenyataan itu tetap menyangkal dengan tanggapan bahawa kedua-dua angkasawan itu mungkin tersalah anggap.
Sehingga kini, kes membabitkan pesawat C-119 Flying Boxcar, TBF Avenger, Martin PBM-3 Mariner, kapal laut Atlanta serta ratusan lagi kes kehilangan kapal dan pesawat di kawasan itu terus kekal misteri dan tidak dapat diselesaikan.
Bagaimanapun, terdapat persamaan dalam kebanyakan kes - ghaib ketika keadaan cuaca baik, kapal dan pesawat tidak memiliki masalah atau kerosakan teknikal, perhubungan radio antara pesawat dan kapal dengan pusat kawalan berjalan biasa sehinggalah ia terus terputus tanpa disangka.
Banyak teori dikaitkan sebagai punca misteri Segitiga Bermuda. Ada yang mengemukakan teori lingkungan waktu, medan graviti terbalik, anomali magnetik-graviti, fenomena gempa laut, serangan gelombang besar termasuk dikaitkan dengan lubang hitam di angkasa.
Teori lebih pelik adalah wilayah itu dikatakan markas UFO di Bumi ini, pusat pemerintahan kota Atlantis yang tenggelam ribuan tahun lalu, kota manusia duyung selain pusat persembunyian Dajal.
Walau pelbagai teori dikemukakan, tiada satu pun yang menyingkap rahsia sebenar mengenai misteri wilayah segitiga itu.
Selepas lebih 500 tahun daripada peristiwa mistik yang menghantui Columbus, pelbagai kejadian aneh bagaikan tidak berkesudahan sekali gus meletakkan Segitiga Bermuda sebagai antara wilayah paling misteri di dunia ini.

Seems that the world oil price has dropped to less than USD70/barrel. A lot of countries has reduced the fuel prices, including Malaysia.
(Current fuel price in Malaysia: Petrol RON97, RM2.15/litre; RON92 RM2.05/litre & Diesel RM2.05/litre)

However, the people still curious about the price reduced. Why is it not reduced to the previous price before the price hike (previously, RON97 RM1.92/litre) and still more 20 cents/litre??

Is the people satisfied already? Can it make the peoples' life better?

Definitely NOT!!!

Apollo 14 astronaut claims aliens HAVE made contact - but it has been covered up for 60 years

Aliens have contacted humans several times but governments have hidden the truth for 60 years, the sixth man to walk on the moon has claimed.

Apollo 14 astronaut Dr Edgar Mitchell, said he was aware of many UFO visits to Earth during his career with NASA but each one was covered up. (Edgar Mitchell (fig) was the Lunar Module Pilot for Apollo 14 )
Dr Mitchell, 77, said during a radio interview that sources at the space agency who had had contact with aliens described the beings as 'little people who look strange to us.'

He said supposedly real-life ET's were similar to the traditional image of a small frame, large eyes and head.

Chillingly, he claimed our technology is 'not nearly as sophisticated' as theirs and "had they been hostile", he warned 'we would be been gone by now'.

Dr Mitchell, along with with Apollo 14 commander Alan Shepard, holds the record for the longest ever moon walk, at nine hours and 17 minutes following their 1971 mission.

'I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we've been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomena is real,' Dr Mitchell said.

'It's been well covered up by all our governments for the last 60 years or so, but slowly it's leaked out and some of us have been privileged to have been briefed on some of it.

'I've been in military and intelligence circles, who know that beneath the surface of what has been public knowledge, yes - we have been visited. Reading the papers recently, it's been happening quite a bit.'

Dr Mitchell, who has a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering and a Doctor of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics claimed Roswell was real and similar alien visits continue to be investigated.

He told the astonished Kerrang! radio host Nick Margerrison: "This is really starting to open up. I think we're headed for real disclosure and some serious organisations are moving in that direction.'

Mr Margerrison said: 'I thought I'd stumbled on some sort of astronaut humour but he was absolutely serious that aliens are definitely out there and there's no debating it.'

Officials from NASA, however, were quick to play the comments down.

In a statement, a spokesman said: "NASA does not track UFOs. NASA is not involved in any sort of cover up about alien life on this planet or anywhere in the universe.

'Dr Mitchell is a great American, but we do not share his opinions on this issue.'

Oil Price INCREASE !!!

Start from today, in Malaysia, the petrol price is increased RM0.78/litre to RM2.70/litre (nearly 40% increment from RM1.92/litre previously). The diesel price is increased RM1.00/litre to RM2.50/litre (nearly 63% increment from RM1.58/litre previously).

Though, the Malaysian Govt will give cash rebate on fuel to the vehicles' owners, as the oil subsidy (will be given to the people upon the road-tax renewal).

What worries the people is, the other items such as groceries, building materials, buses/air fare, etc will increase too, due to the oil-price hike.

Take off clothing and place it in sectioned laundry hamper according to lights and darks.

Walk to bathroom wearing long dressing gown.
If you see husband along the way, cover up any exposed areas.

Look at your womanly physique in the mirror - make mental note to do more sit-ups/leg-lifts, etc.

Get in the shower. Use face cloth, arm cloth, leg cloth, long loofah, wide loofah and pumice stone.

Wash your hair once with cucumber and sage shampoo with 43 added vitamins.

Wash your hair again to make sure it's clean.

Condition your hair with grapefruit mint conditioner enhanced with real passion fruit.

Wash your face with crushed apricot facial scrub for 10 minutes until red.

Wash entire rest of body with ginger nut and jaffa cake body wash.

Rinse conditioner off hair.

Shave armpits and legs.

Turn off shower.

Ratatouille with Egg and Cheese Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 small eggplant, trimmed, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 medium onion, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 small zucchini, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 small red bell pepper, seeded and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
- 1 (28 ounce) can plum tomatoes with juice
- 2 tablespoons torn fresh basil leaves, plus more for garnish
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
- 4 large eggs
- 4 ounces part-skim mozzarella, thinly sliced and cut into 1/4-inch strips
- 4 1/2-inch-thick slices Italian bread, preferably whole-wheat
- 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil

COOKING DIRECTIONS:

1) Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly coat a large rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray.
2) Combine eggplant, onion, zucchini, bell pepper and garlic in a large bowl; drizzle with 2 tablespoons oil; toss to coat. Spread the vegetables on the prepared baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper.
3) Roast the vegetables, uncovered, turning often, until lightly browned and tender, about 45 minutes. Transfer the vegetables to a 9-by-13-inch baking dish. Cut tomatoes into chunks. Stir the tomatoes (and their juices), basil and parsley into the vegetables. Cover with foil.
4) Bake until the ratatouille is hot and bubbling, about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven.
5) With a large spoon, make four evenly spaced indentations in the hot ratatouille. Carefully break an egg into each indentation. Sprinkle cheese over the vegetables and eggs. Bake, uncovered, until the eggs are set and the cheese is melted, 8 to 10 minutes.
6) While the eggs are baking, toast bread and drizzle each slice with 1/2 teaspoon olive oil. Divide bread slices among 4 plates or shallow soup bowls.
7) To serve, lift an egg and ratatouille from the baking dish and place on top of a slice of toasted bread. Spoon the remaining vegetables and juices around the edges, distributing evenly. Garnish with more basil, if desired.

Lesson 2:

A sales rep, an administration clerk, and the manager are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp. They rub it and a Genie comes out.

"Me first! Me first!" says the admin clerk. "I want to be in the Bahamas , driving a speedboat, without a care in the world."

Puff! She's gone.

"Me next! Me next!" says the sales rep. "I want to be in Hawaii, relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of Pina Coladas and the love of my life."

Puff! He's gone.

"OK, you're up," the Genie says to the manager.

The manager says, "I want those two back in the office after lunch."

Moral of the story:Always let your boss have the first say.

Lesson 4
An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing. A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him, "Can I also sit like you and do nothing?"

The eagle answered: " Sure , why not."

So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle and rested.

All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

Moral of the story:
To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.

Lesson 5
A turkey was chatting with a bull. "I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree," sighed the turkey, "but I haven't got the energy."

"Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?" replied the bull. "They're packed with nutrients." !

The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree. The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree.

He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the! tree.

Moral of the story:
Bull Shit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there.

Lesson 6
A little bird was flying south for the Winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field. While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him.

As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.

A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Morals of the story:
(1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.
(2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.
(3) And when you're in deep shit, it's best to keep your mouth shut!

They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food - while she appeared a bit shaken up, Imelda (name changed) went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening. Imelda's husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at 6:00pm , Ingrid passed away.) She had suffered a stroke at the BBQ. Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Imelda would be with us today. Some don't die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead.

A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke...totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.

RECOGNIZING A STROKE

Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.

Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:

S* Ask the individual to SMILE.

T * Ask the person to TALK to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE(Coherently ) (i.e. It is sunny out today)

R * Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.

NOTE: Another 'sign' of a stroke is this: Ask the person to 'stick' out their tongue. If the tongue is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke. If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call 911 (for US) or call 999 (for M'sia) immediately !! and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.

This is very, very good. I never realized of this before

I have been driving (legally) for more 15 years. Anybody would think that I would have noticed the little secret on my dash that was staring me right in the face the whole time. I didn't and I bet you probably haven't either.

Quick question, what side of your car is your gas tank?
If you are anything like me, you probably can't remember right away. My solution is to uncofortably stick my head out the window, strain my neck and look. If you don't do this in your own car you definetly have done it in a borrowed or rental car.
Well ladies and gentlemen, I'm going to share with you my little secret so you will no longer look panick on your way to the gas station or put your neck at risk of uncomfort or injury.

If you look at your gas guage, you will see a small icon of a gas pump. The handle of the gas pump will extend out on either the left or right side of the pump. If your tank is on the left, the handle will be on the left. If your tank is on the right, the handle will be on the right (see photo above). It is that simple!
I don't know how you feel right now but when I found out this morning I felt cheated!
Why don't the dealers share such importnant information with car buyers? I don't understand why this isn't in the drivers ed manual? I don't get why any mechanic I have ever been too or know has even thought of mentioning this to me? The only possible explantion can be that all these people probably don't even know!

First Malaysian Cosmonaut To Space

10th October 2007 has become a history of Malaysia, when the first Malaysian cosmonaut (angkasawan), Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor Sheikh Mustapha, 35, was launched to the International Space Station (ISS), in rocket Soyuz TMA-11.
This historical event held in Baikanor Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan, Russia. The lift-off was at 7:21pm local time (9:21pm Malaysian Time)

Besides him, the mission to ISS is accompanied by Komander Peggy Whitson (USA) and flight engineer, Yuri Malenchenko (Russia).

Nine minutes after the lift-off, the rocket reached the altitude of 200km from earth and the main control centre near Moscow announced "Space-shuttle TMA-11 is in orbit".
Visual from the cockpit was shown to the whole country (live broadcast on several M'sian channels). The space shuttle will reached the ISS in 48 hours at the altitude of 360km from earth.

These three cosmonauts will be in ISS for 10 days with Dr Sheikh Muszaphar conducting three experiments involving 3 main components ie. "cells in space", microbs in space" and "protein crystalization" before returning to earth on 21st October 2007.

Malaysians are so proud to have a Malaysian in the space, proving that nothing is impossible to achieve a big success.

Believe it or not, the world's first-ever Ferrari stretch limo: a 23-foot 360 Modena with eight seats and the biggest electric gullwing doors have ever seen.
£200,000 was spent by Style Limousines in Manchester to modify this rear-engined Ferrari 360 Modena.
Those gullwing doors are nine-foot long and were designed by one of the teams responsible for the Mercedes SLR McLaren.

All the eight seats are made of carbon-fibre buckets, with five-point race harnesses - which really needed when the 3.6-litre V8 remains, with its 395bhp roars and accelerates the mega-Ferrari to 60mph in under six seconds.
This F360 stretch is not the only unique limousine in the Style fleet. It also includes a stretch Hummer painted bright pink, as well as other stretch Hummers, Range Rovers and Chrysler 300s.

The SkyWalk over Grand Canyon West is Now Open....

THE SKYWALK, is the latest tourist main attraction in Grand Canyon West. The cantilevered walkway, which is made its media debut Tuesday, is a mere 4,000 feet above the bottom of the canyon. It opens to the public on March 28, 2007.
It cost approximately $30 million to build over a couple of years.

The open-air skywalk extends 70 feet out from the rim of the canyon, where it's anchored deep in the rock landscape. It will be open from dawn to dusk, and the price of admission is $25 per person. As many as 120 people will be allowed on the bridge at any given time; each will have to wear special shoe covers to prevent slipping and scratching.

The skywalk and Grand Canyon West are owned and operated by the Hualapai tribe, which is hoping for an economic boost from the new landmark. The site is in Arizona, about 70 miles northwest of Kingman, and about 120 miles east of Las Vegas.

The U-shaped structure can safely withstand 100-mph winds from eight directions and an 8.0-magnitude earthquake within 50 miles.

Most people will go out onto the skywalk to look down. Here's an unexpected view, looking up from below the glass platform. The 2-inch-thick glass floor is a joint effort of industrial giant DuPont and manufacturer Saint Gobain.

An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried across her neck.

One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water.

At the end of the long walks f rom the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of water.

Of course , the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments.

But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the woman one day by the stream "I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house."

The old woman smiled, "Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side?"

"That's because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them."

"For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table.

Without you being just t he way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house."

Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding.

Miri City - "The Oil Town"

I have got a lot of people asking me about any special places in Miri City (in Sarawak, Malaysia or also called as West Borneo). Some of the places in Miri can be found in other websites, such as the Mulu Cave, Mulu National Park, Niah Cave, Lambir National Park, Bario Highland, and Loagan Bunut National Park.

So, I would like to add some other places which is a must-visit place, which located on the Kanada Hill, Miri, Sarawak (don't know how they got the Kanada name).

1. Grand Old Lady - The First Well
This is a very historical place for Malaysia, because it is the First Well drilled in 10th August 1910. Drilled by Shell, big oil company which still remain in Sarawak as Sarawak Shell Berhad.

2. Time Capsul (in Malay: Kapsul Masa)
The Time Capsul was launched on the 20th May 2005. It contained the "Book Of Miri City Officialisation" ("Buku Cenderamata Perayaan Pengisytiharan Bandaraya Miri") which will be opened on the 20th May 2105 (100 years later after the launch).

Prawn Oleo Spaghetti

Recipe utk 4-6 persons

Cooked spaghetti
Butter - enough for frying
2 cloves garlic - minced ( Pizza Hut uses dried sliced garlic)
1/2 or 1 onion (depending on the size) chopped
6 dried chillies - cut into 3 0r 4 shorter pieces, washed
3-5 prawns per person, shelled and deveined
3-4 dried chinese mushroom, sliced or quartered
2 chicken cubes
grated parmesan cheese

1. Heat wok and melt butter.
2. Saute garlic, onion and dried chillies.
3. Add prawn and mushroom.
4. When prawn has changed colour, add spaghetti. Crumble chicken cube and stir.
5. Add salt to taste.
6. Serve with parmesan cheese.

MAKING A BABY.

The Smiths were unable to conceive children and decided to use a surrogate father to start their family. On the day the proxy father was to arrive, Mr. Smith kissed his wife goodbye and said, "Well, I'm off now. The man should be here soon."

Half an hour later, just by chance, a door-to-door baby photographer happened to ring the doorbell, hoping to make a sale. "Good morning, Ma'am", he said, "I've come to..."

"My, that's a lot!", gasped Mrs. Smith.

"Ma'am, in my line of work a man has to take his time. I'd love to be In and out in five minutes, but I'm sure you'd be disappointed with that."

"Don't I know it," said Mrs. Smith quietly.
The photographer opened his briefcase and pulled out a portfolio of his baby pictures. "This was done on the top of a bus," he said.

"Oh, my God!" Mrs. Smith exclaimed, grasping at her throat.

"And these twins turned out exceptionally well - when you consider their mother was so difficult to work with."

"She was difficult?" asked M rs. Smith.

"Yes, I'm afraid so. I finally had to take her to the park to get the job done right. People were crowding around four and five deep to get a good look"

"Four and five deep?" said Mrs. Smith, her eyes wide with amazement.

"Yes", the photographer replied. "And for more than three hours, too. The mother was constantly squealing and yelling - I could hardly concentrate, and when darkness approached I had to rush my shots. Finally, when the squirrels began nibbling on my equipment, I just had to pack it all in."

Mrs. Smith leaned forward. "Do you mean they actually chewed on your, uh...equipment?"

"It's true, Ma'am, yes.. Well, if you're ready, I'll set-up my tripod and we can get to work right away."

"Tripod?"

"Oh yes, Ma'am. I need to use a tripod to rest my Canon on. It's much too big to be held in the hand very long."

Next Mercedes Sport Car - SLC

As you already know by now Mercedes and Mclaren split after the SLR didn’t have the success everyone expected. As a result, the next sport car from Mercedes will be built without McLaren’s help.

The next sport car will be called SLC and will be built in cooperation with DTM. It will be based on the next-generation SL and will be a front/mid-engine car with rear-wheel drive model. A first concept will be unveiled next year at Geneva Motor Show.

The SLC will have a fixed carbon roof to lower the center of gravity and gullwing doors to link it with the SLR. The SLC will be a 2-seater, although one of the design goals is that the car provide more than adequate space for two people and their luggage.

It will be powered by a modified 6.2-liter AMG V-8 engine with an output of 700 hp. Price will be around $200,000 and will be limited to only 500 units.

Where you can find these information ?

Temperature Resistance

These letters indicates a tire's resistance to heat.
From highest to lowest, a tire's resistance to heat is graded as "A", "B", or "C".

Symbol Area
A - Hot Area
B - Normal Weather Area
C - Cold Area

Treadwear Number

This number indicates the tire's wear rate.
The higher the treadwear number is, the longer it should take for the tread to wear down.
For example, a tire graded 400 should last twice as long as a tire graded 200.

Traction

This letter indicates a tire's ability to stop on wet pavement. A higher graded tire should allow you to stop your car on wet roads in a shorter distance than a tire with a lower grade. Traction is graded from highest to lowest as "AA","A", "B", and "C".

Max. Load Capacity & tire Speed Symbol

Number indicates the max. load that can be carried by the tire. Symbol indicates the
max. Speed at which a tire is designed to be driven for extended periods of time.

Manufacturing Date

This Tire has been made in Week 37 from year 2005

TYRE EXPIRY
Vehicle tires have a 4-year validity period from their Date of Manufacture (DOM). Thereafter, the tire expires and may burst whilst in use. How to find out whether your tire has expired? Check for a stamp like this: (*2603*) There is an asterisk at the beginning and at the end of this serial number.
The first two numbers 2 6 will tell which week of the year has it been manufactured.
NB: One year has 52 weeks. The last two numbers represent the year of make. Therefore, *2603* shows that the said tire is manufactured in the 26th week of the year 2003. *2699* this shows that the tire is made in the 26th week of 1999.
Check all your tires for safety purposes. Do not use expired tires. They are likely to burst (especially when running in hot weather) because the rubber component may have hardened and cracked.

This is a really good make over for the NSX.
The guy doesn't need million $$ to transformed his NSX into a 360. Anyway, he choose another signature for his car: 361 at the tail corresponds to the chassis number.
This car has the same weight as the Ferrari 360 and features many parts from the original Ferrari. The starting bid is $49,000.
